REITs are regulated collective investment vehicles which invest in real estate. REITs promoters source funds to build or acquire real estate assets, which they sell or rent to generate income. The income generated is then distributed to the investors.REITs generate income through rent and property appreciation, offering investors a convenient way to access real estate returns without the complexities of property ownership.
